Home Canning Bulletins and
Other Canning Recipes
Price: $1.50 each
Easy to Use: These are the ONLY home canning books I use. They have complete information for anything I would want to bottle.
I mostly bottle basic foods like peaches, pears, beans, tomatoes. I don't do too many fancy things. But these canning bulletins have most of what I do in an easy to read chart telling me altitude conversions and processing time. They also talk me through the processes of food and canner preparation.
I recommend getting one of each of these - for canning vegetables, canning fruits and also canning tomatoes since each type of food requires different preparation and processes.
Oh, one more important thing. If you want my apple pie filling recipe, check my blog. =)
These are published by the Pacific Northwest Cooperative Extension for Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
If you are interested, I have a limited seasonal supply of these bulletins.
