The Complete Universal Blender - it comes with pitcher, blade assembly, lid and funnel cap and this blender will fit onto any Bosch Universal mixer model, including the new Universal Plus. This is a 6 cup blender made of unbreakable 'Lexan'. It is designed to perfectly puree fruits and vegetables, snow ice, and grind grains.

Tip: The blender lid doubles as a handy "wrench" that makes removal and replacement of the blade assembly fast & easy, but remember that rather than unscrewing all the way, you just give it a quarter-turn, then it pulls straight out easily.

p.s When the new blender is attached to the Universal Plus mixer, the blender lid must be in place AND FULLY ROTATED into position, or else the motor of the mixer will not run. Your mixer base is not defective. Also, if the blender is not mounted onto the mixer, the safety cover must be in place over the high speed drive or else, again, the motor will not run at all. It is not sufficient to simply have the lid "mostly" in place. For the mixer to run, the lid must be snapped fully in place.

p.p.s.:  The blender that fits the Universal (classic style) has been discontinued and is no longer available. The new  version of this blender (shown at right) will fit older versions of the Universal as well as the new Universal Plus.
